New and practical information that I can use June 3, 2008 Hawk-i 7 out of 10 found this review helpful
I have been an investor and rehabbing for several years with single and dual family homes. During this time I have read several books on Multi Family Apartment ownership. For some time I have wanted to move on to larger units but was concerned that I didn't have the knowledge to move forward. Each time I finished reading the other books I came away still feeling I needed more practical information to move forward. After reading Dave's book I came away feeling it's time to make the move (to take action). I have now started putting my team together following the advise Dave outlines in this book. So far it is working great.
Multi-Family MILLIONS - EXCELLENT May 31, 2008 Bruce Avellanet (Dallas, TX) Dave Lindahl is right on the money when it comes to buying & flipping, buying, rehabbing, stabilizing, and selling, and buying, repositioning and selling or cash flowing multi-family properties with any of these strategies. Dave has obviously "been there, done that" with all types of multi-family properties. This is a perfect "how to" guide for the beginning multi-family investor or the experienced pro who wants to fine tune his multi-family projects. I highly recommend Dave's book. Bruce A.
A Novice's Opinion, but great info! October 16, 2009 Stacy Steven Smith (Glendale, CA) I'm a novice to Commercial Real Estate investing but must say that I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book. Mr. Lindahl lays things out in a practical way with great examples of things he's come accross in his investing career. His opinions on the value of going multi rather than Single Family Residences makes a lot of sense. I found this book very informative and quite motivating. I really enjoyed this book and will refer to it often as I develop my own real estate business.
Very practical and thorough February 28, 2010 Mohamed Frihi I was quite impressed about the variety of information Dave has included, he basically guides you through all the steps you need to know to go out and make deals. I had his famous Multifamily riches set with CDs and books, it costs hundreds of dollars in the market but i find all the information you need is already in this book. He even says that you are able to make successful investments after reading and understanding the topics here. Thumbs up to Dave for squeezing up his years of experience into such a book ...a wealth of information essential for multifamily REIs.
What to do when I own the property? June 25, 2010 ManfredCA This book emphasises on how to reposition / remodel multi family properties to force value increase. It also provides detailed information how to find and manage a property management company. David lists the most common pitfalls and mistakes and how to avoid them. In addition to emerging real estate markets, his other book, this is must have knowledge to invest in multi family properties.
